I am an Associate Professor of Economics (with tenure) at the Research Institute of Economics and Management (RIEM), Southwestern University of Finance and Economics (SWUFE) in Chengdu China.

I am also affiliated with the James M. and Cathleen D. Stone Center for Research on Wealth Inequality and Mobility and the Human Capital and Economic Opportunity (HCEO) at the University of Chicago.

My broad research field is empirical microeconomics which integrates economic theory with empirical evidence by using rigorous econometric analysis to study policy-relevant questions. In particular, my research covers a wide range of topics in empirical IO, labor, education, and household finance.
